Directions: Park at Teton Village and walk through the resort center. The trail begins over the grass bridge below the Aerial Tram.
Beginning from Teton Village, the Wildflower Trail is a steep yet mellow hike that can be completed by anyone given the right amount of time. Winding back and forth up Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the trail will take you through trees and past chairlifts, and crosses plenty of ski runs, making it quite exposed. No scrambling is required and it never feels overly steep, but the trail does reach from the bottom of the resort to the top of the gondola, uphill all the way. The views over Teton Village and the surrounding area improve with every step, and you'll be amazed at how much elevation you can gain in such a short amount of time. During the summer operating season you can ride the gondola down for free, cutting the distance in half. Note: dogs are allowed on trails, but are not allowed to ride the gondola. In case of snow, you may have to skip parts of the trail in favor of the service roads, but you will find your way back without issue. Remember that this is bear country, so stay alert and bring your bear spray.
